Masculine card

Morning! I hope you had a lovely weekend! I'm back with another card for a couple of challenges, mostly inspired by Mailes card below. I thought I'd follow the placement of the heart stamps but use a fave of mine - PTI's Hexagon stamps. The colours were from the Just Add Ink challenge but I don't have Midnight Muse (yet!) so I used Marina Mist. I also went a bit old school and threw a couple of eyelets in! I hope you like it - have a good monday!

10 Minute Craft Dash!

Hiya! Later than I planned but yesterday got away with me! Here's a card I made on my day off for this weeks beautiful colour combo on the 10 Minute Craft Dash, I thought they were the perfect reason to pull out this old Kaisercraft pad. It was definitely a dash this time! I took a picture of what I started out with but the card didn't go in the direction I planned so I ended up scrabbling around for other bits and pieces! Just made it in time though! Can I also say thanks for all the lovely comments on my cards the last couple of days. I am the worst blogger ever and am always snooping on other blogs but often forget to leave comments so its so nice when people are kind enough to leave me one :-) Thanks for looking, have a lovely day!

Purple & Wildflowers!

Hi again! I'm back with another card, this time a one layer card for this weeks Less is More challenge. I asked Jamie to pick any colour so I wouldn't spend 18 hours on choosing which one as my card blank! He said purple, and so I got to work with one of the new MFT stamp sets, white ink, white embossing powder and some purple ink to make this silhouette/shadow picture. I masked off an area for the sentiment then drew in some faux stitching. I hope you like it, thanks for popping in! I've managed to cram loads of crafting in today and I think my mojo is back! Yay! Back tomorrow :-)

A wedding card!

Hello! I hope this finds you well! I have the day off today and I'm trying to keep out of the builders way (that's my excuse for staying in my craft room all day!) I've made 2 cards already and hopefully will get a few more done to show you. I'll start with this wedding card I've made for my friends who are getting married next weekend - can't wait! I hope it doesn't rain though :-s
I made it for the Fusion sketch although I ending up taking the card apart and moving the banner to the centre It looked weird to me being off set on a classic style card. I kept the colours monochromatic using pearly cream, natural cream and greys/silvers - I think I'm quite happy with it, although the photo makes the colours look more washed out and 'glare-y' than they are in real life. Thanks for looking! I'll be back either later or tomorrow with another card.

Penny Black Saturday May challenge!

Hello! Here's my card for this months Penny Black Saturday challenge for May, the challenges Anything Goes, nice and easy! We have the usual gorgeous inspiration from the Design Team as well as our ever generous sponsors, The Ribbon Girl, 1-2-3 Stitch and J&C Creations.
I also didn't mention that this is my last card for the blog as I've decided to step down :-( After 5 years I just felt it was a bit of a stuggle, plus as any of my followers will know, I'm not exactly the most prolific of bloggers or card makers! Plus we've just started an extension so I don't see that changing anytime soon! Well, that's my news! I hope you're all well, thanks for stopping by, have a lovely day!

Birthday Wishes!

Hello! I'm back after another unplanned break! i don't realise I'm doing it as I still seem to be blog snooping and making stuff, just forgetting to actually upload it! But I'm back with another card, perfect for one of my boozy friends! I got the new Memory Box die and thought it would make a nice border, so I cut it out multiple times from this yummy glitter card and popped it up on some foam pads. I hope you like it and thanks for dropping by!

Fancy Pants!

Hello! What a lovely day! I'm sat here with all the windows open - such a welcome change from having the heating on!! I'm back with another card. I bought the Fancy Pants Trendsetter pad last month and I absolutely love it but love it in the kind of way where I don't want to cut into it! But when I saw it was the inspiration for this week Colour Throwdown challenge, I thought I'd get stuck in! (I've made a second already with the positive from this die cut so I'll be back in a while to show you) Thanks for looking, I hope you like it!
